Help Yourself Be A Better Blogger!

Hi guys! My lovely friend along with her partner have starting the most best idea I have seen in a while! Though a school isn't new to Stardoll, but this isn't just any school, its a school of BLOGGING!

I think this is really what is needed, to be honest. I remember constantly when I did 'Ask Dei', people were begging for help about blogging and such, and I found it sad.. I wish I was a better help for those who didn't know how to explain blogging to them that much.. But here, blogging will be explained to the T and help YOU excel with your writings!

The owners/professors of the blog school are xxevie23xx and my dear friend Welsh_witch, have already started schooling, but students can still enroll

I don't really know much about xxevie23xx, but Rhiann(welsh_witch) is a very VERY good writer/blogger! In the past, she had a very sucessful blog, and at this moment, we actually have a blog together, but its in need of a fresher-upper! But believe me, she is the best and so, you should at least check out this project if anything, maybe even a follow would also be a big help too for yourself and them! I really want to see this thing come through!
I am positive that if you read the lectures they have in the future, they are sure to help you in later in your blogger life to succeed and achieve!

Check out their blog HERE!

What's your opinions about a blogging school?

Do you think you are a good blogger?

Love, Dei

  2. I went on the blog although the font hurts my eyes too much :/

I think this is a good idea, but I think it will be hard for it to become successful.

  3. Uhm....Fashion Group School rip off much?

  4. Anon, Fashion Group School was a huge fail, and I am glad someone got an idea to start project like this, it will be very helful, I signed up, even I have experience in blogging, I want to improve my skills.

  5. @Anon - The FGU sadly never even started, and this idea is strictly about blogging/writing. While FGU was about various courses, but mainly graphic design.

So no, its not a rip off.

  6. @Evermore1girl - Yes! It's totally free.

  7. What was this fashion group thing? it sounded good until I heard it failed,

  8. Wow I went to the blog, and it seems like a lot of hard work...But I think a lot of people could really use this school, everyone's always complaining about how all their projects fail, well this school could really turn that around!

  9. Dei, why would you post something like this here? You've been promoting yourself and your friends here all this time. This blog has a blogging comp going on and I just think that you are disrespecting the owners of this blog by promoting something similar like that on here.

Hasn't there been any decency left in you?

Umm, in case you don't remember, Dei used to do a segment where she gave others advice (I miss that D:), so no, promoting her friends isn't all she does. It's not really promoting if you think about it... They don't get any money for teaching YOU how to blog.

  11. Yeah... that advise column that got axed because all she did was talk about herself.

Providing the link to another blog in such a away is promotion. Ask yourself this: What does MDM have to benefit if the followers on here follow Dei's blog? What's her purpose in posting than on here and not on HER OWN blog?

Because MDM has got 1000+ followers and she's got les than 100.

Dei, a word of advise, keep your advertisements to your own blog because people don't appreciate you doing that here.

  12. I agree with tinkerbell101. MDM has got a top blogger comp which is very siilar to helping people to become better bloggers so i don't understand why Dei did this.

  13. It seems very exciting, a very good idea too, for new writers and such. :)

  14. The concept is okay...
But the 2 people who will be holding it don't make me think it will be AMAZING!... I'm sorry.

  15. What's new with Dei? This is so expected of her. Starting off with an advise column pretendig as if this is her own talk show is a sign of the things to come. I'm sure there will be worse things than this promotion.

If this was done in a subtle way instead of this:

"Rhiann(welsh_witch) is a very VERY good writer/blogger! In the past, she had a very sucessful blog, and at this moment, we actually have a blog together, but its in need of a fresher-upper! But believe me, she is the best and so, you should at least check out this project if anything, maybe even a follow would also be a big help too for yourself and them! I am positive that if you read the lectures they have in the future, they are sure to help you in later in your blogger life to succeed and achieve!

    Check out their blog HERE!"

It would have been more acceptable and made a little more disrespect to Noelle and Isabella.

And reading and re-reading those lines makes my skin crawl with disgust at how explicitly she promoted her friend as the BEST BLOGGER out there.

What a thick face you've got Dei. You should be fired.

  17. I completely agree with Regina

  18. Wow, okay, for starters I am not trying only promote myself and writers, I just try and get the word out about things that could interest/help members!

Sure, okay, whatever, I have promoted myself, big whoop. If it is such a problem I would stop but if Noelle herself, or Isabella, come to me personally saying 'You advertise too much' then I will.

Another thing is, I didn't make my column to look like a fucking talk show. I truly actually wanted to help people! Its seriously pisses me off people think I did to make myself look good.. I tend to think of others before myself a lot, that's why I made the column, that's why I made the awards too.

And my last point is, Noelle is running a writing COMPETITION, the blog I mentioned is about helping users with blogging and their writings! What the fuck, even though this competition on MDM is excellent, it is a to find a new writer, and I do believe that this comp has helped the users who are in it or have been in it give them guidance and improvement, but not to be offensive, I doubt it helps or explain key elements of blogging to THE READERS.

But you know what. I am glad that all I seem to be is hack and a harlot about advertising.

  19. @Regin@Bi@tch - You are screwing my words around! I am not promoting her has the best blogger and you know that whoever the hell you are. (And even if you do have a blogger account, I think you are an anon)

I am saying, obviously, she is one of my most favorite bloggers around Stardoll, and to be honest, I believe she deserves better than having to be stuck with me on a blog.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Oh no no no no! You clearly said that she IS the BEST blogger around. Ayway, enough of your blahs. It will be really appreciated if you keep promotions and advertisements on your blog rather tha using other blogs to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. She didn't say she was the best blogger. I read through this, it's just like if I say. 'Salty Dan is a very good blogger.' I don't mean to offend anyone, I just think Dan is a good blogger.

    And, no I don't think I'm a good writer, or blogger, what's so ever. I really don't.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Dumbass, its says 'she is the best', not 'she is the best blogger.

    Go troll somewhere else.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I never heard of the people who made this school. Are they really that good bloggers to make this school?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Who will be the teachers. I'm not sure if this is gonna work. First, passion for writing cannot be taught. Second, creative writing takes time and skills to be passed on frommentor to student and I doubt if having a "successful" blog before is enough of a credential to train others. Let's stick to the the Top Blogger comp shall we?

    PS:
I agree that Dei never said she was the best blogger. It was easy to misinterpret that though because 90% of this post is a promotion of "that" blog and the person / people who run it. Not cool.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I love you, Dei. Just...LOVE.

    Let's clear a few things up -
You do not have to be well known to be good at writing, just as being 'famous' does not make you the next Shakespeare.

Also, Evie and I are not the only bloggers. We will have guest writers from all corners of the blogging world, to cover all aspects.

And MDM is running a COMPETITION. We are running a COURSE. There is no prize with us, unless you value knowledge. People rarely do around here. The point of Blog School is to inspire talent in others, so they may create their own blogs rather than reward talent the way that MDM have organised theirs.

Thanks for listening, oh cynical ones.

(I get why you are bitching about me being 'unknown'. My blog shut down a few years ago, but until it did, it was one of the biggest solo blogs out there. If you are fairly new to the scene, then no, you won't have heard of me.)

Nice to see you back! Oh wait. .. .who are you again?
