Adieu Femme?

Pardon me, I think I'm writing about magazines too much...

After delivering 2 successful issues, it seems that the ever-so-promising Femme magazine has made a fullstop in production.
I know what you're thinking:
"WHAT?!?!"
(Maybe that was a bit too dramaticized, let's let that moment be forgotten)

But where did we hear such a monstrosity? Tylerisbold spilled this devastating news upon our newsfeeds through Stardoll Style Bubble:

Femme Magazine has always been a paragon for utter Stardoll magazine perfection. From their very first issue, Princess_Kiara1/Nika succeeded in making us ogle at the splendid graphics and the ever-so-amusing articles. We also can't forget Devie44 and his amazing editing. To keep things to the point: Femme was a standout magazine from the rest.

We can only guess as to why Femme stopped chugging on it's track of success. The main graphic designer, Nika, seemed to think that graphic-ing had become a tad dull as she stated on a Stardoll's Appearance interview:

Of course, we can -and should- understand that for her, studies come first. There may be other reasons why, but despite everything we must thank the Femme team for entertaining us with their astounding magazine. We'll never know when -or if- the 3rd edition will be presented to us...but until then we've still got this:

What is your favorite edition of Femme?
How do you feel about it's end in production?

  2. That's no secret, Nika already confirmed the end of femme weeks ago... Too bad, I loved it.

  3. She single-handedly had to make 30+ medolls per issue within Patrick's deadline.

That is a lot for one person. So I don't blame her from getting sick of doing back to back to back graphics. When we(me and Aislin) hired her I didn't know she was working on FEMME until she told her later so I respected that she was busy with it but she ended up making herself over-worked and I felt really bad.

  4. 30 Dei? More along the lines of 12. Also FEMME was done in 3 months and I had no deadlines..

  6. It absolutely matters how many graphics I had to do, it really does. lololo
No matter whether I had to do 30 or 12 or 637 graphics, an average femme graphic took me about 10 hours. Which I dare to say is about a half of how long the, let me quote Sierra, "Stardoll's newest graphics extraordinaire" Jelinna spends on her oh so amazingly perfect VOGUE "mag", bleh I mean lookbook...wait I shouldn't have said that hahah, oh em gee
No srsly. The day's got 24 hours, well no shit, but I had averagely 4 hours of free time when I didn't had to study, and I usually lacked motivation, but hey, some people obviously thought I was some kind of a robot, oh well...
The summer issue wouldn't have been done in time no matter what I would've done, my motivation was on and off all the time and I can't work like that, I can't work on something that doesn't interest me at all. So it really was the best thing to quit Femme, there are lots of better mags now so why can't we all get over Femme and read something better, for example Vogue? I love how sarcasm doesn't work online.

  8. Thanks for featuring SSB. My post wasn't announcing the end of Femme, I was simply writing and sharing my opinions on what it could have been. :-)
