Unpleasable

Savages. Desperate. We are longing for that spark.

We drink it up until we are far beyond quenched and our source is bone dry.

We are pathetic.

Stirring our stick in the mud, hoping, even begging for something to become of it.

The supply has long since been vanquished and our demands have grown to the size of an obese being with an eternal supply of treats and the self control of a child with Tourette's syndrome.

We lie in waiting. Eager to pounce on prey that is all too oblivious.

And we prepare to milk them for all they are worth, and even then some.

Remember, our supply is scarce.

And when our targets are out of sight, hidden safely, smug in their clever defenses, we must forage.

We find ourselves endlessly searching the desert for corn from a field.

And in our failure, desperate attempts must be made.

For the prey that escaped our grasp; prey that failed to feed our hunger, we must sacrifice ourselves.

Conjure up secrets that do not exist, forge bonds that are not pure. We must feed the hungry.

We are gossip hungry.

We will beg for it's return until it falls at our feet.

We will go to endless lengths build a false story for the pleasure of others.

We will offer ourselves so that our name may shine famously over all the wrongs we have done.

We will laugh, torture, expose and betray anyone for even a taste of the gossip fruit.

We are sick, twisted, conniving liars.
